I. Introduction
The NavSpec Clan was formed with the member in mind. One
of the premiere goals of this clan is to provide the greatest clan experience possible to the gamer. In order for this to
be possible, the system that the NavSpec Clan uses for organizing its members must be able to clearly define the role that
each member will play and present a hierarchy that gives nearly every member the chance to participate in matches, scrimmages,
and tournaments. There must also be a possibility for rewards and advancement. I feel that the following system does just
that.
II. The System
The system used by the NavSpec Clan begins with the leader
of the clan, Josh Jones or NavSpec~284. The leader is the supreme commander of all operations undertaken by the clan. Under
the clan leader is the vice-commander, Germain Humphrey or NavSpec~319. His job is to oversee the maintenance of the clan
website and forum. He is directly under the clan leader and all units must report to him also. Then the clan divides into fireteams
of ten men apiece. The number ten was chosen because not all members will be able to attend matches which could involve up
to eight men. Fireteams will be divided into Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc. Each fireteam will participate in
different tournaments and operate independently of each other, but each promoting the status and ideals of the NavSpec Clan.
Josh and Germain will not belong to a particular fireteam but will command all of them. When not being led by the Commander
or Vice-Commander, the fireteams will be led by their respective squad leaders.
III. Fireteam Divisions
Each fireteam will be divided into subdivisions. At
the head of each fireteam will be the squad leader. He will lead his fireteam into battle and manage any issues
that arise in his fireteam. He will report to the clan commanders. Below him are the assault troopers, the base defenders,
and the snipers. There should be about 4 assault troopers, 3 defenders, and 2 snipers with the leader taking on whichever
duty he feels most comfortable with. Soldiers in these categories will be experts at their duties. These duties may change
however. If the fireteam is in an 8 vs. 8 match and two of the assault troopers could not be there, then one defender
and one sniper would have to take over for them. The squad leader would be in charge of making these changes. When deciding
which members of the fireteam will participate in a given event, each squad will have inter-fireteam matches to decide which
troops will participate. Also, titles such as Tank Support and Air Support would be given to those assault troopers and defenders
who excel with those vehicles.
